The Sidewalks Are Life's Runway

Runway fashion is divine, but there is something about street style that is so intriguing. I think the thing I find fascinating about it is the choice of it all. What we put on our body everyday is a reflection of us, our personality, our likes, our desires, etc. Even if you have a stylist you still choose to put the clothes on your body by agreeing to them. Street style is proves that fashion is so much more than "just clothes"- it is living, breathing art work that is constantly on display for the world to take in and evaluate.

The most stylish people (notable or not) make fashion a way of life and don't need a reason to "dress up" (whatever that really means..) However, when an event, such as NYFW, summons the fashion masses, it is like eye porn for those that appreciate the artistry of personal style.

I felt inspired to write this post because today I was approached on my University campus to be shot by my very first style blogger (pics to come!) I was very honored/excited as I have great respect & praise for those that provide me with beautiful photos to look at on the Internet.
