NYFW Timeout: DIY Project

It's hard to believe NYFW is just barely half done. I feel like I've seen so much (ahem Johnny Weird ice skating, JWOWW at Richie Rich, glitter tears at Vena Cava, nuns at Thom Browne). I was feeling rather inspired last eve by all my fashion viewings and musings that I decided to undertake a little art project of my own. Nothing major, just something different. In preparation for my big move to DC from Middleofnowhere, Canada, I am divesting and DIY-ing.

Behold the remaking of Audrey Hepburn. I have a black and white canvas print of the style icon above my bed, an homage to my love for classic movies. The print is fine in b&w but as I looked at it yesterday I thought wouldn't it look chic if I painted her lips pink. I know it's nothing revolutionary, pop art isn't exactly a secret, but I am quite pleased with how it turned out.
