NYFW 2011: Top Ten @ Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti

It's hard for me to not love a collection that channels the days of Jackie O. PdAF was a welcome change in my viewings of the neutral and muted tones of many of the shows on Saturday. The colors made me nostalgic for my childhood as they reminded me of the sorbet ice cream I enjoyed every Saturday at my grandparents home.

From the beehive hair to the updated Mary-Jane shoes, this collection was definitively retro. However, it also seemed to channel the modern day country club set. In a nutshell, the collection made me smile. It made me excited and I had a tough time narrowing my favorite looks down to 10.
