I Dream of Adler

In December I graduated and entered the "real world". Well, not exactly, but I did go on a well-deserved vacation to Palm Beach and New York before returning to the frigid temperatures of Canada. In New York, I often passed the Jonathan Adler store on Madison Avenue and felt inspired to start thinking about how I would decorate my own place when the time came to finally fly the coup. 


Fast forward a few weeks: I am in the process of searching for an apartment in DC and figuring out how to best get my 47 coffee table books, 19 pairs of shoes, and the rest of my life from Alberta, Canada to the Capital. It seems like my Adler fantasy might becomes a reality sooner than I expected.


I've always loved the look of black, white, and pops of color for interiors and nobody does minimalistic maximization better than Adler. His style is so playful, yet mature and chic. I love the minimalistic look of a white lounge chair flanked by black coffee tables and how it allows for so much creativity in the decorative pieces that really make a room unique and personal.
