NYFW 2011: Beautiful Juxtaposition at Marc Jacobs

Scroll down my blog and the theme is pretty clear: NYFW. Top Ten looks. Easy. And then Marc Jacobs came along...

The man showed enough looks for 3 shows! How am I supposed to narrow it down to 10? I'm not. I can't. I won't. The collection was a) amazing b) beautiful c) varied

The take aways from MJ:
- It's hip to be round (when it comes to headwear)
- Lace is the new black
- Sloppy, boho OUT; tailored, smart, sophisticated IN
- Jewel tones it's your time to shine

Here are at least Ten looks (all of them Top) from Mr. Jacobs:

Fave look of the lot

The entire show was really a spectacle. The clothes were lady-like, the music was Marilyn Manson's "Beautiful People", the walls were covered with insane asylum-esque padding. I think that's called beautiful juxtaposition.
